Un Ángel para Tu Soledad

Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota

Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota was an influential Argentine rock band formed in Greater Buenos Aires in the late 1970s. Associated with rock nacional, their music blended elements of hard rock, punk attitude, and blues with poetic, often enigmatic lyrics delivered by frontman Carlos "Indio" Solari; guitar work by Eduardo "Skay" Beilinson was a defining feature. Active primarily from the late 1970s through the 1990s, they became known for a do-it-yourself ethos, a strong cult following, and a preference for artistic independence from mainstream industry practices. Their recordings and live performances emphasized raw, energetic arrangements, lyrical ambiguity, and a confrontational, iconoclastic stance within Argentine popular music.
