Pogány Induló, Parno Graszt
Pogány Induló, Parno Graszt is a Hungarian Roma musical ensemble formed in the early 2000s, known for performing traditional Roma and Hungarian folk music with contemporary elements. Originating from Bóly and other settlements in southern Hungary, the group blends acoustic instrumentation—such as violins, cimbalom and guitar—with call-and-response vocals, improvised ornamentation and rhythmic drive characteristic of Romani musical traditions. They perform both deeply rooted folk repertoire and original arrangements that aim to present Roma musical heritage on concert stages and in recordings. The ensemble gained broader recognition in Hungary and internationally through festival appearances and media exposure.
