Rockwell

Rockwell
Rockwell is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Kennedy William Gordon (commonly credited as Rockwell), best known for his 1984 hit single "Somebody's Watching Me." Emerging from the United States, his work is associated with pop and R&B and incorporates elements of synth-pop and post-disco production characteristic of the early-to-mid 1980s. His music features prominent use of synthesizers, drum machines and catchy, hook-driven choruses, and often explores themes of paranoia and romantic relationships. Rockwell achieved commercial visibility during the 1980s and is primarily remembered for his contributions to mainstream pop and urban radio during that period.
