Maná

Maná is a Mexican rock band formed in Guadalajara, Jalisco, that became one of the most successful and influential Latin American acts. Active from the late 1970s in earlier incarnations and achieving international prominence from the late 1980s onward, their music blends rock en español with pop rock, Latin rock, and elements of reggae and balladry. Known for melodic songwriting, prominent guitar work, rhythmic grooves, and socially conscious and romantic lyrics, the group combines accessible arrangements with polished production and strong vocal hooks. Their recordings and live performances have played a significant role in popularizing Spanish-language rock across the Americas.
