BADBADNOTGOOD & V.C.R is a collaborative project between the Canadian instrumental group BADBADNOTGOOD and the producer V.C.R. BADBADNOTGOOD originated in Toronto and are known for blending jazz, hip hop, and electronic influences, forming around the early 2010s; their work often features improvisation, jazz instrumentation, and reinterpretations of contemporary hip-hop and pop material. V.C.R is a producer associated with electronic and beat-driven approaches, and in collaboration with BADBADNOTGOOD the music combines live jazz performance with electronic production, sampling and beat-oriented arrangements, resulting in atmospheric, groove-focused tracks that straddle jazz, electronic and hip-hop styles.
