Extremoduro
Extremoduro is a Spanish rock band formed in Plasencia, Extremadura, in 1987, fronted by singer-songwriter Roberto Iniesta. They are associated with the rock urbano and hard rock traditions, incorporating elements of punk, blues and Spanish poetic lyricism. Known for raw, expressive vocals, gritty guitar-driven arrangements and lyrics that blend autobiographical, erotic and social themes, their music often features dynamic shifts between acoustic passages and intense electric outbursts. Active primarily from the late 1980s through the 2000s, Extremoduro achieved significant influence within Spanish-language rock, recognized for their uncompromising, visceral approach and for bringing a literary intensity to contemporary Spanish rock.
