Kings of Leon
Kings of Leon is an American rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in the early 2000s, composed of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew Followill. Their music blends elements of alternative rock, southern rock and garage rock with touches of post-punk revival and arena rock, characterized by driving guitar riffs, emphatic rhythms and emotive, reverb-tinged vocals. The band rose to prominence through a series of albums and singles that moved from raw, roots-influenced sounds toward a more polished, commercially oriented production while retaining a focus on melodic hooks and high-energy live performance. They have been active across the 2000s and 2010s.
